Steven Lance, ACH, MH, is an associate at the Integrated Health and Wellness Center, 2640 Highway 70, Bldg. 12, Suite 201, Manasquan New Jersey, where he is credentialed to work in his areas of specialty, Stress and Anxiety, Pain Management and Stress-related concerns.Steve is also an associate practitioner at the Fulinello Chiropractic and Wellness Center, 999 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson, New Jersey.

Hypnocounselor, Steven Lance, who holds a BA in English, received his formal training at The Institute of Hypnotherapy, Edison, New Jersey, where he earned his Clinical Hypnotherapist (ChT), Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist (ACH), and Master Hypnocounselor (MH) certifications. He is also a MS candidate for a Masters on Natural Health from the Clayton College of Natural Health, Birminham, Alabama.

Steve is certified by the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association and is a member of the American Board of Hypnotherapy, and the International Association of Counselors and Therapists.

His training in Clinical Hypnotherapy includes a variety of useful and remarkably effective healing modalities that include Guided Imagery, Direct Suggestion Hypnotherapy, Charles Tebitts' "Parts Therapy," Ericksonian Metaphoric Therapy, and Neural Linguistic Programming (NLP). He has also trained with Patricia French Crilly, RN in the use of the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), which involves patterns of tapping on specific body meridians to quickly and effectively provide relief to specific stress triggers. EFT, sometimes referred to as "Mental Acupuncture" (just without the needles), is a gentle way to get past emotional issues that may be blocking your emotional well being.

Steve also utilizes a fascinating diagnostic tool that helps his clients (of all ages) to explore their health concerns through the interpretive use of personal crayon drawings, in a technique known as, "Drawings as Symbols."

Steve's experience in the healthcare industry includes his position as the Public Information Chairman of the Essex County Unit of the American Cancer Society, and his work as a medical/pharmaceutical technical writer and subject matter expert for Becton, Dickinson and Company, and their Bard-Parker division products.

Recognizing the growing interest in integrative medicine, Steve turned his attention, and his energies, to holistic healing to pursue a career in Clinical Hypnosis, and Holistic Nutrition, and has been in clinical practice since May of 2001.

Steve is a nationally recognized pop culture historian and member of Phi Delta Epsilon, the National Honorary Journalism Fraternity. He is the author of the hardcover library reference book, Written Out of Television: A TV Lover's Guide to Cast Changes and Character Replacements 1945-1994 (Scarecrow Press) and its commercial trade paperback companion, Written Out of Television: A TV Lover's Guide to Cast Changes 1945-1994 (Madison Books).
